HIS SERVANTS' MINISTRY www.godcannotlie.org Welcome to our web site What We Believe We have ONE God, who is absolutely and infinitely perfect; who exists eternally in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; they are never in disagreement; but are always in perfect harmony in all things. God CANNOT lie, and CANNOT sin in any way. God will never change. God has always been, and always will be. God is NEVER wrong in any thing He ever does. Our Saviour and Lord, Jesus the Christ (the Messiah), is the only begotten Son of God the Father. He is absolutely 100% God, and absolutely 100% Man. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin, Mary. He suffered just as the prophets said He would, then bled and died on the Cross at Calvary; the JUST for the unjust (the world, us), as an acceptable substitutional Sacrifice to God on our behalf. ALL (whosoever) believe in Him are completely forgiven of all their sins; justified by His precious and holy Blood, thus receiving His righteousness as their own (1 Cor.1:30). He rose from the dead (was resurrected), again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to the right Hand of God, the Father Almighty where He now acts as our great High Priest and Advocate. The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is a divine PERSON; one of the three Persons of the Trinity. He is 100% God! He is sent to baptize, indwell, guide, teach, admonish and empower all those who trust Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. He also convicts the world of their sin, of righteousness and of judgment (John 16:8-9). Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are inerrant (never wrong) as originally given, and both were inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind and his daily lifestyle. Throughout the Bible, God speaks to us, showing us what He expects of us. Man was originally created in the image of God: with a capacity to think, to feel and to know God. He fell through disobedience; bringing on himself both physical and spiritual death. Since the fall of Adam, ALL men (and women) are born with a sinful nature, and are separated from God by their sin, and are God’s natural enemies. We can be rescued from our fatal plight only by the atoning Blood of Jesus, and His Work on the Cross. Salvation (being saved from sin and spiritual death) has been provided through Christ Jesus for ALL mankind. ALL (whosoever) who humble themselves and repent, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ are "born again" (spiritually). Once you TRULY believe and have become God’s child, you receive the GIFT of eternal life and NO ONE can ever take that away from you (John 10:27-29). ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED! The TRUE church is made up of ALL "born again" believers, NOT denominations! Christ is the Head and the Cornerstone of the Church; and EVERY believer has the duty of telling others about Jesus (witnessing, Mat.28:19). This duty does NOT belong just to preachers and teachers, but to ALL believers! We, as the church, are to gather together to worship God, and learn more about Him, and to fellowship together. ALL who have ever lived shall one day be bodily resurrected. God’s children will receive glorified bodies like Christ, and shall be granted entrance into Heaven (God’s Home). The unjust (ALL unbelievers who reject and deny Jesus) shall also be resurrected bodily; that resurrection unto judgment (Hell). The Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18) is imminent and impending and will be a personal calling out of ALL God’s children (ONLY the TRUE church), BEFORE the Great Tribulation Period. The TRUE church will NOT go through the Great Tribulation (Rev.3:10; 1 Thes.1:10; John 5:24). Since NO ONE knows when this event will take place, we should live our lives as if Jesus were coming today. We must be ready! ALL God’s children (the church) will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to receive rewards (or loss). Our destination (Heaven) has already been assured the moment we turned to Christ to save us. ALL the wicked (unjust, ungodly, unbelievers, all who reject and deny Jesus) shall stand before the Great White Throne Judgment. Since their sins are not washed away by the Blood of Jesus; they shall receive punishment for EVERY sin they ever committed, and they shall spend eternity in Hell (everlasting destruction). What We Believe We believe that everyone (whosoever) places their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, and believes that He died to pay for our sins on the cross (1 Cor.15:3-4). We believe that we are saved by the grace of God through faith alone (Eph.2:8-9), and are baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor.12:13), and we are sealed in Him for the coming day of the Rapture (Eph.1:13; 4:30; 1 Thes.4:14-18). Two Ordinances We believe that the church has two ordinances: Baptism, by immersion unless the person is not able, and the Lord’s Supper (Communion), to celebrate His death until He returns (Mat.28:19; 1 Cor.11:24-32). The Bible The entire authorized Word of God (NOT the new corrupt, modern versions), all 66 Books, in its original writings was inspired of God and is of complete authority (2 Tim.3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21). The Godhead, the Triune God There is ONE God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; John 15:26; Romans 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:3-6; 2 Cor. 13:14; Ephes. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:7; Jude 1:20-21; Rev. 1:4-5). Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ Jesus was the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin, Mary. Christ Jesus is 100% God and 100 % Man. He never gave up His right as God, but set it aside because of His great love for us. He left the glory of Heaven to come to Earth as Man to suffer and die on the cross, for us! He paid a debt He didn’t owe because we had a debt we could not pay. Anyone who denies the virgin birth of our Lord, Jesus cannot be a "Christian" in my estimation. Salvation God the Father justifies repentant sinners by His amazing grace, when they believe on the Lord Jesus and confess Him as their Saviour and Lord. When we accept Jesus and believe in His Work on the cross, we are washed in the precious Blood of Jesus. (John 1:12; Rom.5:1-2; 6:6-7; 10:9; 1 Cor. 6:20; Col. 2:13-14; Hebrews 9:12; 10:19; 1 Peter 1:2, 18-19; 1 John 1:7). Eternal Security NO one is saved by their own works. Only Christ Jesus can save your soul John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Once saved, always saved. Upon a sincere and heartfelt acceptance of Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to abide within and when He comes, He is there for ever (John 14:16; 2 John 1:2). You do NOT possess the Spirit one day and the next day He is gone. God does NOT give the Spirit by chance. He gives the Spirit, only to those people who are genuine and honest in their commitment to Jesus. And once you are saved, you saved for ever! A wonderful Promise from God. (Col.3:1-3; Phil.1:6; Rom.8:1, 29-34, 38-39; Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30; John 14:16; 2 John 1:2). For ever! Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost), is the third Person in the Triune God that we Christians worship. He convicts us of our sin, He regenerates us, He baptizes us into the Body of Christ (the church), He enlightens us, He empowers us, and He indwells TRUE believers for ever! (John 14:16; 2 John 1:2; John 16:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Cor.2:10; 12:13; Eph.1:13,17-18; 3:16; 1 John 4:13). The Body of Christ (the Church) There are NO denominations in Heaven, just born again believers. There is only one TRUE church, that being the Body of Christ (1 Cor.12:13; Eph.1:22-23; 3:16). The church started with the apostles and disciples were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). Spiritual Gifts The gifts needed for the edification of the Body of Christ are listed in Rom.12:4-8; Eph.4:7-16. Many of these gifts were needed for the early church and are no longer in operation today. All sign gifts such as tongues, healing and prophecy were temporary and have ceased (1 Cor.13:8-11). We do NOT believe in the “You Name It, You Claim It” doctrine of today. We do not believe that unless you must speak in tongues, you are not a Christian. Ridiculous! Show me where Jesus tells us we must speak in tongues. NO where! Resurrection Christ Jesus was resurrected from the dead bodily (Luke 24:39-43). Because of this, ALL persons shall be resurrected bodily the same as Jesus (1 Cor. 15:20-34). ALL people, the righteous and the wicked, shall have their body resurrected (Acts 24:15). The saved shall have everlasting glory and the unsaved shall have everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire (John 5:28-29; Rev.20:11-15). Also see: Job 19:26; Psalm 16:10; Psalm 49:15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12:2; Hosea 13:14; John 6:39-40, 44; 1 Thes.4:14-18. The Rapture of the Church The rapture of the church which is the Body of Christ (1 Thes.4:14-18) will come as a thief in the night (Mat.24:43; 2 Peter 3:10; 1 Thes.5:2). He shall return in the clouds the same way that He left (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thes.4:17). The Rapture shall take place just before the Great Tribulation. NO one knows the day that it will happen (Mat.24:36; Mark 13:32). The Great Tribulation Period We believe that immediately following the Rapture of the church (John 14:1-3; 1 Thes. 4:14-18), that the righteous judgment of Almighty God shall be poured out on the unbelieving world (Jer.30:7; Dan.9:26-27; Mat.24:21-29; 2 Thes.2:7-12; Rev.16:1). This time is prophesied by the prophets of old (Dan.9:26-27; 11:36; 12:1; Jer.30:4-7; 46:21; Joel 2:1, 31; Isa.10:3; 22:5; Eze.22:17-22; Hos.9;7; Mic.7:4; Zep.1:15; Mal.4:5). It is also mentioned many times in the New Testament (Mat.24:8, Luke 21:34-36; 21-29; 1 Cor.5:5; 1 Thes.1:10; Rev.3:10; 6:16; 6:17). The Second Coming of Christ The Second Coming of Christ to the Earth shall be different. ALL people shall know that it is Christ returning just as He said He would (Zec.14:2-4; Rev.1:7; 19:11-21). His Second Coming will be seven years AFTER the beginning of the Great tribulation. The 1000 Year Reign of Christ Jesus on Earth We believe that after the Great Tribulation period, Christ shall occupy the throne of David on Earth (Mat.25:31; Luke 1:31-33; Acts 2:29-30). Christ shall establish His Kingdom on Earth for 1000 years (Rev.20:1-7). During this time the saints resurrected at the Rapture shall reign with Him over Israel and all nations. This reign shall be preceded by the overthrow of the Antichrist and the False Prophet, and by removing Satan from the world for those 1000 years (Rev.19:11-21; 20:1-6). We believe that the 1000 year Kingdom will be a fulfillment of God’s Promise to Israel (Isa.65:17-25, Eze.37:21-29; Zec.8:1-17) to restore them to the land that they forfeited through their disobedience (Deut.28:15-68). The result of their disobedience was that Israel was temporarily set aside (Mat.21:43; Rom.11:1-26), but they shall be awakened through repentance to enter the land of blessing (Jer.31:31-34; Eze.36:22-32; Rom.11:25-29). The Great White Throne Judgment We believe that after the release of Satan from his 1000 year prison sentence, after the 1000 year reign of Christ (Rev.20:7-8), Satan shall again deceive the nations and gather them together for one final battle (Rev.20:9). After his defeat, he shall be cast into the Lake of Fire (Mat.25:41; Rev.20:10). Christ will then judge the great and the small at the Great White Throne (John 5:22; Rev.20:11-15). All those before this Judgment shall be judged according to their works (2 Cor. 11:15; Mat.25:31-32, 40; Rev. 20:12). The books shall be opened. (Daniel 7:10). The books of God's remembrance, both of the evil and the good (Psalm 56:8; Psalm 139:4; Malachi 3:16): of conscience (Romans 2:15-16), the Word of Christ (John 12:48), the law (Gal.3:10), God's eternal counsel (Psalm 139:16). Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life shall be cast into the Lake of Fire (Rev.20:15). The Condition of Lost Mankind ALL people by nature are dead in trespasses and sins and are therefore, completely unable to achieve salvation of their souls by their own strength and/or wisdom. NO person is righteous in God’s eyes without acceptance of Jesus. ALL people are sinners (Psalm 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Rom.3:10,23; 6:23; 1 Cor.1:18-31). The State of the Dead God’s Holy Word does NOT, in any place, extend the hope of salvation to any unsaved person. Instead God clearly reveals that that they shall continue to be in a state of eternal conscience suffering ( Luke 16:23-28; Rom.1:21-32; John 3:36; Phil.3:19; Col.3:6; 2 Thes.1:8-9; Rev.14:11; 20:14-15). Any teaching of universalism, the brotherhood of man, probation of Hell after death, purgatory, annihilation of the unsaved dead, or the unconscious state of the dead, saved or unsaved, is totally unscriptural and extremely dangerous to your eternal soul (Ecc.12:7; Luke 16:23-28; Phil.1:23; 2 Cor.5:6-8). Mission and Work of the Church The purpose and assignment of the church, the Body of Christ, is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to the world (Mat.28:19-20; 2 Cor.5:14-21). We are to preach Christ Jesus according to the mystery (Rom.16:25; Eph. 3:8-9) with all boldness. We, like the apostle Paul must preach and teach the entire Word of God (2 Tim.4:2; Gal.1:8-9). We preach Heaven, we must preach Hell, or we shall be held accountable. God’s Word has much more to say about Hell than it does Heaven. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (KJV) We MUST “Go ye therefore!” The majority of people who “profess” Christ (say they are a Christian), do NOT do as our Lord Jesus tells us in this verse. If we say we trust Jesus, we must OBEY Him as well! Trust and obey, for there is no other way! IF you do NOT "Go ye therefore" it is doubtful that you are really saved.
